DashThis uses heavily encrypted URLs to provide a high level of security. However, we understand how tricky this matter can be for a variety of clients. Many feel more secure behind a password-protected environment. This is why we offer integrated security using our authentication API.
There is no need for a complex mechanism. You simply handle your clients’ authentication within your Intranet. Then, ask for a secured token via our API. This token will be required to access all of your dashboards. It’s as easy as that!

Client: Bonnier Tidskrifter, Sweden
Bonnier Tidskrifter is a Swedish magazine publisher based in Stockholm, Sweden. Bonnier Tidskrifter has about 500 employees and is part of the Bonnier Group which has 4.24 billion US$ in revenue in 2010.
The problem
The client wanted its publishers to see in real time their weekly goal achievement. They had ink mind a dashboard they would show off on a large screen installed in the middle of the office.
The solution
DashThis has the framework needed to do their project quickly while keeping development costs low. In fact, we reuse all the technology behind DashThis and simply create another view of the dashboard corresponding to the client's needs.
The result
The result is a completly different dashboard compared to those you see when registering to DashThis. The first phase of the dashboard was delivered in less than a month and is posted on the office's wall since then. The project continues to evolve as well as more entities in the group want their own dashboard too.
