Many of our users use the same Google Analytics or Adwords dashboard for all of their clients over and over again. While they can clone a dashboard when setting up a new client, it would be way easier to create the report from a template.
The difference with a cloned dashboard, a report template will be available from the drop down menu where all the predefined dashboard templates are.
So the question is: Can we make a template out of an existing dashboard?
And the answer is yes!
A template designer with parameters (to specify filters for example) is in our roadmap. For now, what we do is we take a user’s dashboard and make a template out of it.
In short: What if you’d like to get a template instead of using the clone feature?
- You create the dashboard you want to use as a template.
- You drop us an email!
- We will create a template out of it and add it to your list. The template will only be visible for you, of course.
