It seems like the way we should calculate the “Users who clicked rate” metric in Campaign Monitor and MailChimp differs from one person to another. We used to calculate it as “Number of clicks / Number of email sent”, but some users would prefer it be calculated as “Number of clicks / Number of email opened”.
In order to be as flexible as possible, DashThis added this new metric “Users Who Clicked Rate (Clicks/Opens)”. And, for clarity, we renamed the first one as “Users Who Clicked Rate (Clicks/Recipients)”.
You can now use both metrics as you see fit. They’re both available in custom widgets.
