The Grand Opening!

This is it. It’s the time I’ve been waiting for months now: Launching my new web adventure. And this time it’s called DashThis.

Who am I?

First thing first, let me introduce myself a little. My name is Stephane Guerin and I’m an IT guy with a big passion for the Web. I’ve been connected to Internet since 1991 now. I’ve seen the first version of Netscape and Yahoo!. I sold Web companies in the midst of the Internet bubble at the end of the 90’s. I’ve started several Web projects. Some of them have been sold in the past 10 years. And here I am with my new business project.

I’ll be honest: I’m a French Canadian so French is my native language. Thus my English is far from being perfect. After all, I come from the oldest French speaking city in North America! So I might sound funny from time to time, but you can be sure I know the online business!

So, what is DashThis?

It’s a tool based on Google Analytics that creates quick and simple executive dashboards.

Why?

Because I’ve always been flabbergasted that business managers and executives don’t give much attention to online metrics. Knowing how many visits is sadly often enough. However, companies’ managers struggle to make decision based on Web metrics. That’s because it’s too complicated. That’s the goal of our executive dashboards: To give quick, meaningful and actionable insights about their online business.

Who is it useful to?

Executive dashboards are, obviously, for executives and business managers. But also for Web analysts who have to communicate a lot with the management. The executive dashboard becomes the common language between them.

What about analytics, web or SEO agencies?

Web agencies are already doing Web business with their clients. DashThis will reduce their time to implement a ROI analysis tool. Less time developing, more time billing basically!
