Add a Margin to AdWords Cost in Google Analytics

A lot of SEM /PPC /  web agencies need to report the total cost the client pay rather than the Adwords cost alone. The total cost would include the agency fee.

Most of the time, it’s a margin like 15% or 20% that it is added to the cost. Sometimes it’s a flat fee like 200$.

How can you add a margin to your Adwords cost in Google Analytics?

That’s where DashThis’ custom solutions come handy!

We can create new widgets for you and insert them into the standard KPIs dropdown menu. Once there, you can reuse it as often as required into your dashboards.

In the scenario of adding your agency’s margin to the Adwords cost metric, we would simply create a new widget that would recalculate the cost by adding the margin.

Is there a fee for this? Yes since it’s custom work. Generally around 595$ depending on the complexity.

Do you need a custom KPI that adds your agency’s margin to the Adwords cost metric in Google Analytics?
