SEO specialists ask us very often if we can create dashboards using Google Webmaster Tools API. Indeed, that’s a common reporting need among the SEO community to track rankings improvements.
The good news is that DashThis is built to connect easily to any data source.
The bad news is that Google Webmaster Tools API isn’t ready to be integrated yet. However, it seems that this should be released in a foreseeable future. There’s no release date though, but we hope that’s going to happen before the year’s end.
Among things we want to extract from Google Webmaster Tools API are those dimensions and metrics: Search Queries, Top Pages and Links to Your Site, Impressions, Clicks, CTR and Average Position.
We know you can connect Webmaster Tools into Google Analytics, but this data isn’t available from the Google Analytics API, unfortunately. It would be awesome though.
If you need anything else to build your SEO dashboards using Google Webmaster Tools, don’t hesitate to drop us a line.
Besides, we are working on a data push API to let you push custom data. This will be release in the following weeks.
